A softened gold-pink duochrome, metallic, slightly rough texture. The duochrome is visible, but it doesn't hit you over the head. This is a work-safe duochrome.
Let's be honest: we've seen this. <a href=”/such/obsessive/addictions/china_glazes_swanky_silk/”>Recently</a>, <a href=”/such/obsessive/addictions/maybellines_pink_cosmo/”>even</a>.
If this particular color combination doesn't thrill you, you're not sobbing into your coffee about missing this one. And if you have either of the other recent similar colors…likewise. But if you didn't get your hands on any of these, you're in luck. Several drugstores near me - Walgreen's, Rite Aid, even our little regional chain - have added the entire Lustre Shine lineup to the permanent display area. Now, whenever that chain (or store) runs a special on Sally Hansen polishes, you can pick up a bottle of Gilt for about USD$4.
The polish applies fairly well, but requires three or four coats for full opacity. Allow plenty of drying time between coats to let the polish actually cure properly, and you're set for a good four or five days, even without a top coat.
