Sally Hansen’s Boca Mocha

These actually cover parts of last week, as well - because I was just too lazy and unmotivated to put the pictures from my camera onto the computer, crop them, and upload them. It was that bad a week, people. (I think I may have to start taking Vitamin D supplements just to see if it helps any.) At any rate, the manicures I wore, in order, were Sally Hansen's Boca Mocha, Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure over Boca Mocha, Sally Hansen's Resolution, and then Nubar's Peach Sherbet.

I don't know if it was the batch, or if the matte colors from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Formula are just cranky; but like Sunflowers, this polish didn't apply as smoothly. I still saw some unevenness at two coats. Still, since I pretty much intended to use it as a base color for Hidden Treasure, I wasn't griping overly much. I got to wear one coat of HT over Boca Mocha for just over a day before my right thumbnail flaked and split, tearing away half the polish on that nail. I didn't even get any photos! I gave up, cut all my nails down to nubs, buffed them, and decided to try one of the Digital-Bright HD colors.
