I saw this color several times while on my frantic search for Hidden Treasure (which I finally found, and got - yay). Each time I picked up the bottle…and each time I put it back down, thinking that it was probably a bit similar to something I already had (or possibly similar to something I had on the way, from the Zoya polish exchange.) I finally broke down and got a bottle, because it looked pretty…and because I kept thinking, no, it's not *quite* similar to anything else I've got. It's a pewter-lavender shade that doesn't really match anything Zoya has, or anything I've bought from anyone else.
This is a single coat of the polish over one coat of OPI Maintenance Nail Envy. There were some brushstrokes minorly visible on the thumbnails, but I suspect that's largely because my thumbnails are just weird (not just ridges, but vertical creases…like I said, weird.) It dried fairly quickly, didn't apply poorly, and has a gunmetal-grey sheen. It reminds me of the eyecolor Crushed Metal, by The SheSpace (or, more vaguely, of the Bare Escentuals color Aurora.)
I've only been wearing this for one day, so I don't yet know how it stands up to longterm wear and daily life. If you look at your local Walgreen's, you might be able to find this line of polishes on sale, buy one get one half off - which is a fairly good price, as these cost more per bottle than Zoya or Nubar.
