Shiro Cosmetics’ Chiefest of Calamities

A medium orange-red with light gold shimmer. I like how it looks better applied damp, than applied dry - applied dry it looks more like a red-clay orange-red, but applied wet the red is a bit more visible. (And oranges and I have always had a rocky relationship. They can't be too red, they definitely can't be too yellow, and don't get any orange anywhere near my browns.) The color itself is fine, though the opacity seemed a little light when I wore it dry over primer. It's just not one of my personal favorites. I'll need to be careful which shades I pair this with.

I kind of expected this color to be a little more red than orange - a bit closer to Aromaleigh's Aldebaran. This shade has a bit more orange tones. I'll have to be more careful of what I wear this with, try and make the color pull a little redder. I worry that if I wear this with browns, it won't pull orange enough, and instead of complementing my eye color it will just make my face look a bit like I'm a few hours past a crying jag.
