Shiro Cosmetics’ Detective

This color is just barely out of the “taupe” category and into a silvered beige. There is a slight grey base, and depending on what colors I use with it, this shows as more gold or more of a warm grey. Because of the greyed tones, it might look a bit ashy on very deep or very warm skintones, or with the wrong accompanying colors. I love it, though! With my cool undertones, this shows up as a silvered beige-gold with a very nice shimmer-verging-on-sparkle. The coverage is excellent, as well, with no thinner spots.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
