There’s a pretty strong, solid interference layer on this color. The color looks more like a blue-based gold, than a blue with a gold shift. The gold can be lightened by blending or buffing the color once its dried (and before you set it with fixative or finishing spray) but that will soften the base blue color a bit. If you want a light blue…get another color! But if you’re happy to have a solid-coverage light blue with an equally solid gold overlay, this is a great color to pick up. I’ve used this as a highlighter shade or inner-vee accent that’s something other than a shimmery pale brown, gold, or peach.
