Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

Sigma Beauty’s Eyeliner Brush

  • Manufacturer: Sigma Beauty
  • Availability: part of Sigma's Eye brushes
  • Description: black-handled brush, tapered fineline tip
  • Cost: $9
  • Would you purchase again: yes

I bought this hoping that it might be similar to the pointed end of Bare Escentuals' Double-Ended Precision Brush. I love using that brush, but since it's double-ended (and the pointed bit - which I'm just going to call the defining brush - isn't sold by itself...damn, damn, damn) it's a bit of a tricky thing to store or even transport. Sigma's eyeliner brush is tapered, and it's thinner at the base than BE's defining brush. It's a little easier for me to apply liner shadows with this brush because it's thinner at the base...but I can't use it as easily for applying colors to my inner lid. BE's defining brush was just the right size to apply colors without getting any on the bridge of my nose. Sigma's eyeliner brush is thin enough that I have to hit that area twice or three times.
