I tried this one because - hey, who doesn't love a good burgundy or maroon eyeshadow? The color depth and opacity is the same whether applied wet or dry, which I count as a plus. The shimmer finish is barely visible when applied dry, so if you're looking for a metallic maroon you're better off with something that's truly metallic all the time - not just some of the time. (Meow Cosmetics' Royal fits the bill for that.)
