This is supposed to be a taupe…but I read it as right on the edge of a faded dusty lilac. There’s a very faint shimmer - VERY faint - not too obvious. This (and the rest of the Spring 2012 line, actually) had fairly neutral finishes, not quite a matte but definitely not a shimmer or pearl; and were a softer color palette. Initially that collection wasn’t my utter favorite, but the colors are good neutral and near-neutral, excellent basic “everyday” shades.
