Silk Naturals’ Spring 2011 eyeshadows

Sometimes, Silk Naturals will release colors and they’ll stay around for a while. Other times, they tend to get pulled from the rotation after a few years. (The shortest I’ve noticed an eyeshadow ever being available for purchase from Silk Naturals - if it isn’t specifically listed as ‘limited edition’ - is two years.) It’s been just under three years since the release of this collection, though, and over half of the colors listed are no longer available. The ones that are available tend to be clustered in the “neutral” and “neutral-warm” end of the spectrum. All of the cool colors from this collection have, sadly, been pulled!

I can remember when Sorbet and Watermelon were pulled from the site, and was glad I bought them. That was in those two colors barely lasted one year. Neuron was a much more recent discontinuation - I had it in my cart in November 2013, but it was gone by December 2013. I have no idea about many of the other shades, like Pink Lemonade, Jellybean, Surge, or Tingle.

This collection contained:

  • Cloudberry —
  • Daiquiri — softened medium orange frost
  • Jellybean — melon-pink satin
  • Juiced — orange-white satin
  • Neuron — soft turquoise-blue satin
  • Pink Lemonade — gilded baby pink shimmer
  • Sorbet — medium raspberry-pink shimmer
  • Surge — pinked lavender satin
  • Tingle — muted blue-mint green shimmer
  • Watermelon — coral-pink shimmer
  • Wired — muted violet-blue shimmer
  • Zero — soft white pearl
  • Zest — chartreuse-green shimmer

...or at least, it did in its original release. As of April 2014, only Cloudberry, Daiquiri, Juiced, and Zero are still available for purchase.
