Simply Naturals’ Azure

Don't be thrown by the color name. This color is not similar to Bare Escentuals' Azure glimpse. This particular shade has no sparkle or shimmer, for one thing. For another, it's not as deep a blue. It's either a dark powder blue or a light robin's-egg blue (honest truth? in the jar, it looked like light-blue pool queue chalk. My grandparents had a pool table in their basement, so I grew up around this stuff.) It's not as intense on the skin, but a lighter version of poolchalk blue. A basic performer in a matte finish. Works as a base or layer, especially to lend some blue tint to a pastel pink or peach.
