This is kind of, but not quite, a “sequel” to the Sparkle palette. 2/3 of the colors are sparkle-finish, the other four shades are metallic…and six of the colors are actually repromotes from the first Sparkle palette. The formula seems to be similar, but the color payoff and texture in the Sparkle 2 palette is just slightly better. I noticed this most in Gold Ribbon and Tinsel, a pair of plush metallics.
Sirvinya picked this up for me and brought it to me in Atlanta, thus aiding and abetting the Sleek palette habit that she helped me get started on.
