Almost looks like a tauped green in the pot, and - kind of sadly - applies much softer. This will work as a softer shadow for more naturalistic looks, unless you apply it over a dark cream base…which may wash out most of the color. In this shadow's defense, once it's in place it doesn't migrate. It stays in place, and I get a little bit of fading after 8 hours but not “fade away to nothing.” It's just really, really hard to get a dark tauped green application using this shadow.

I like the color, but I do wish that it applied more true to its appearance. I have some softer sage greens (matte, frost, and pearl) and would have liked something darker. Unfortunately, I didn't get that with this color, even if I try layering the shadow.

If you're looking for a softer, more naturalistic neutralish moss green, Sobe's Skeleton Key is a good choice.
