Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

Sometimes I even amaze myself

Just got back from visiting my parents, and while there I created a pretty look…quite by accident. I had taken along Serenity, Miss Defiant, and Take A You Day (along with a few other colors). I applied Benefit's Birthday Suit lash to crease, patted Serenity over that, and then applied a little bit of Miss Defiant in the outer crease only (and blended outward). Then I put Take a You Day along the upper lash line…et voila. A little bit of color (but not too much), a bit of brightening (but not obviously so), a bit of definition.

I do love simplicity…

I got a monetary gift, and so stuck some cash in savings, paid off some bills…and splurged a bit. I've got 7 duochrome polishes from Nubar on the way!! I love duochromes because of the colorshift, and because they've often got a blue or purple component that many nail colors don't have. I ordered Wildlife (from the new Going Green collection), Iris Dust, Stardust, Purple Beach, Dreamer's Island, Innocent Whispers, and La Seine Shimmer, plus one Moodies temperature-sensitive polish (mocha to lavender), and one “standard” nail laquer: Peach Sherbet. I also ordered their basecoat and topcoat. I have event staffing every single weekend from now until the end of July; and I'm going to be painting my house, so I won't be able to wear any color for very long; but I think I'll really have fun with these!!
