Sparklecrack Central’s Plumed Fairy

When I purchased the colors from Shiro Cosmetics, I repotted them (as I do). Unfortunately, a few things happened: 1) I had ordered both Clefairy and Vileplume, both of which are fairly similar though Vileplume is a bit warmer; 2) I was in a bit of a repotting frenzy; 3) I somehow got my Clefairy in my Vileplume and my Vileplume in my Clefairy.

I was somewhat less than thrilled.

I ordered replacement-jars of the two Shiro colors, and then began thinking of ways to save myself from my own egregious idiocy. I still had a sampler of Travel to Mars, and I had some jars of mica I'd ordered about a year ago from Coastal Scents...so I started mixing things up. I don't know that I could re-create this exactly, because I was just randomly fiddling about with amounts; but I blended about:

I added in the TTM because I wanted a slight duochrome...and I added the interfine violet pearl (essentially Violet Hilite) to cool the combination down a bit. It worked out decently, I now have a color that is definitely different from either of its primaries, but hasn't lost that color because of the addition of the duochrome micas.
