Stila’s Waterproof Smudge Crayon in Smoke

This color behaves…interestingly. On my lids, it's a tan-taupe with a muted gold shimmer. When I use it on my brows, it's the perfect tan-taupe shade for me. The “gold” and “shimmer” bits seem to just disappear…or maybe the linger around faintly, giving me subtle brow highlights? (I don't know. Once I've got my brows defined for the day I don't pay too much attention to them.) The gel formula applies easily and stays in place very, very well. I stocked up on this color big-time at the Stila Warehouse sale one year. ($22 isn't a bad price for this quality of product, especially if it's such a fantastic color match. But $6 is better.)
