Glamour Puss is home, and doing well. Last night he was so happy to see me, following me everywhere. For a cat that had just had four teeth extracted (he has only four left now!) he was surprisingly energetic. This morning I was able to give him his pain medication and his antibiotics, and did so without ending up with most of the medication on the floor, or the walls, or me, or him. It all went *into* his mouth, which is how the medication will actually stand a chance of working. Years ago I bought a mortar and pestle, mostly for looks…well, now it has a purpose, as I grind up his dry food and mix it with his wet so that he gets both without hurting his mouth.

I'm probably going to take most of today "off" and just sit and relax and spend time with Glamour Puss, but tomorrow I'll be back in the swing of things. I'm going to announce the winner of this week's giveaway, open the next one (for the Bath and Body Works package!), and start the next EoTD-theme. Today, though, I'm going to be pampering my post-op kitty (and watching movies that don't require my full attention to be entertaining. I need a "brain fluff day"!)
