Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Royal

This color doesn’t work for me as a blush…or much of anything, really. It’s almost invisible on me. The brown or neutral blushes are often my least favorite from this line, precisely because they don’t show up. I can’t even try to use them for mild contouring, they have that little pigmentation. No shimmer means that I can’t adapt this to be a highlight or effects-layer color, either.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the face color in the pot; top right, the face color patted loosely over primer, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the color applied to the cheeks.
