The beauty blog social calendar: week one

Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

Because I do things besides just blogging here - I read other folks' blogs. Here's a super-fast post highlighting some of the new blogs I've started reading, some of the goings-on, and some anniversaries and birthdays…

  • Clumps of Mascara's Brittany celebrated her 25th birthday on January 2! It's after the fact...but drop by and wish her a happy quarter-century!
  • Sparkle is my Crack's Lisa Kate posted a lovely birth-month tribute look to a friend of hers, and continues the job search - she has two more interviews lined up - go wish her well!
  • The Makeup Snob's Sara is having her first-ever blog sale, and she wants it all gone-gone gone! (While you're there, check out the large collection of face and eye charts she has, from a variety of brands.)
  • Gloss Menagerie's Aly is also having a blog sale, and is going to try and post more videos in the coming year. (Which is better than I'm planning on doing. I don't even have a video camera...)
  • Natalie just launched her blog Chantilly Lace Beauty, and has posted several gorgeous looks there even though it hasn't yet been a month (or even a half-month.
  • Over at TheNotice, Rae is having a New Year's Giveaway, also!
