I've changed things up...again. I've ordered a few things, and gotten several grab bags from Aromaleigh, and then there are those colors (eye, lip, and nail) from vendors (Sassy Minerals, Sally Hansen, Fyrinnae, Evil Shades, Shiro, Benefit, OPI, China Glaze) that I bought but never did profile...or that I had before I started this site, and never profiled. So it's safe to say that I've got a bit of a backlog :D

From now through at least September 2011 (yup - got I've got posts scheduled out that far), the posting schedule will be:

  • Monday: eyes (shadows, liner, primer, bases, mascara)
  • Tuesday: lips (lip stick, polish, liner...and so forth)
  • Wednesday: nails (mostly just various nail polishes...but I can take good photos now!! I'll mostly be showing older colors, but they're still available at most etailers.)
  • Thursday: kits and collections (mostly older ones, but new ones as they're released and catch my interest)

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays will be looks, EoTDs, tools, news, sales, rants and op-eds, whatever I've got.

I don't doubt that I'll find the occasional new toy along the way, and shuffle the schedule a bit. On the one hand, having stuff scheduled that far out in advance is kind of awe-inspiring. I've always thought I was good at organization, but this is kind of ridiculous. On the other hand, it does take off quite a lot of pressure - especially compared to last year where I was trying to do an EoTD a day!! I have no idea if I'll be able to swatch and photograph all of my various colors by the end of 2011. But I'm not going to hold myself to that goal, if it slips a bit I'm okay...and meanwhile, for those days where I am too frazzled to get out of my pyjamas let alone put on makeup, I'm still good. I've got post-templates in place, I'm about three weeks out in terms of photographs, and it's easier for me to get into a writing rhythm if I've got several colors to talk about. And if I do find any of those aforementioned new toys, I can just move some of the existing posts further out (if it's something time-sensitive and can't wait.)
