The SheSpace’s Cinderella Dumped Her Fella collection

This was my first TSS collection experience…and it was a doozy. Apparently, in previous collections, Heather had such a small customer base that she wasn’t saving the formulas for the colors. She’d make a collection, sell it, and that was well and truly it. For this one, knowing how much the customer base had increased in recent months, she saved all the formulas - and indeed made the entire collection available again for a brief period of time in late November 2008 (and again in early 2010 when the store was closing).

I bought 36 of these 38 colors. The descriptions below, even photos of the colors in their pots, don’t really do these colors justice. The names were just so terrific!! I had a long phone call with Heather when I placed my (gargantuan) order, and she had never studied comparative mythology nor even read the older, “darker” versions of the Cinderella fairy tale. She was unaware just how interesting and spot-on some of her color names were!

This was my favorite of all the collections from The SheSpace (closely followed by the Leo and Cancer astrology collections.) This was, in my opinion, also the collection with the highest average pigmentation levels and the best color quality. (Note: the first re-release, in November 2008, was comparable in terms of color payoff. The re-release close to the shop's closing in 2010...was a bit disappointing. Colors were perhaps 3/4 or, in some cases, half of the original opacity, though I didn't find any colors where the shade actually changed between releases. The color payoff just was significantly lessened.)
