Miss Defiant is an interesting color. It's a borderline pink/magenta, but with more pigmentation and a faint blue iridescent sheen. That blue iridescent is what cools the color down, and makes it pair well with purples and darker blues. It even works somewhat well with bright greens, such as TSS' Blisstified or Bare Escentuals' Lime. The color shines even when applied dry - just not as vividly as when applied wet. It emphasizes blue eyes very well…but, as with all reds, take care that your eye color is emphasized, and that your eyes don't just look reddened and irritated (from crying, from being hit…you don't want either of those looks.) Keep this color on the lid, and blended upward toward the brow - but not heavily applied on the browbone.

This also makes an interesting lip color, and would probably make a lovely nail color. I just don't want to use up my stash finding that out…unless I know Heather's bringing it back.
