All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
TKB Trading’s Carmine

This brightens up considerably when it’s applied! In the pot it looks like a medium to medium-deep red matte; but once it’s applied - dry or wet - it lightens and brightens. This colorant is dried insect bodies, so it’s definitely NOT vegan. I saw minimal staining…or, rather, I saw that this color was a little slower to clean off my skin. I didn’t have to take extreme measures to remove it, though - just a little more soaking time and a second wipe with a remover pad.
