TKB Trading’s Gemini

Gemini was one of the "horoscope" shades released (never was officially marked or marketed as a collection, and I think there were only nine shades instead of twelve; but still...this was one of them.) I got a big bag of this color a few years ago, before it was...discontinued. It is marked as NOT eye-safe at that time, and I think that same notice is actually on the label of the larger bag that I purchased. Now, there's shade in the MyMix section of the website named "Genna" that was supposedly the same color; but MyMix Genna is approved for all cosmetic uses. (I'm only guessing that they used a different list of ingredients between the time it was named "Gemini" and "Genna."

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.

Coral-pinks look good on me. There's enough orange that it nicely enhances my eye color, but not so much that it looks like a pure coral shade. Most coral-pinks also tend to be on the medium-softer side, so they don't look as “little girly” as bubblegum pinks. If you have fair to medium skin and pink or neutral undertones, you should very much enjoy having this color in your collection.

Just remember to look in the MyMix section of the web site. And…if talc is a dealbreaker to you, you may be in for a disappointment since talc is in most of the MyMix shadows including Gemma.
