Urban Decay’s 24-7 Eye Pencil in Invasion

This pencil was added to the 24/7 lineup about this time last year. The official description calls this a dark green, but to me it reads more blackened teal, almost like a midnight blue. I also see faint hints of shimmer finish, rather than a matte similar to the other UD matte pencils. I wish that the coverage were just a little bit better on this…but overall, it's pretty good. It applies almost evenly, especially compared to some of the other Urban Decay matte-finish pencils; and the color payoff is fairly solid.

The color is almost exactly the same as the darker blue outer ring of my own iris, so this shade looks really great on me. I tend to wear this one fairly frequently! Because of that, Invasion is one of the few Urban Decay pencils that I've consciously bought a “backup” for.
