Urban Decay’s 24-7 Eye Pencil in Lucky

I was interested in this shade for a long time, but held off on buying it. Thankfully I picked one up when it was being phased out, and deeply discounted.

Orange, especially coppery-orange, really emphasizes my eyecolor and complements it very well. I was pleaesd to get ahold of this eyeliner…but a little less pleased at the less-than-fantastic application. It goes on a bit patchy, and if I try applying a second layer right away the pencil just picks up some of the color that was previously deposited. I have to wait for the first layer to thoroughly set, then I can apply the second layer.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeliner tube or pencil barrel; top right, the eyeliner applied over bare skin, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the eyeliner applied on the eyelid at the lash line.

I do love the color of this one, but wish that the formula was a bit better, and the coverage a bit more even.
