Urban Decay’s 24-7 Eye Pencil in Smoke

I haven't had the best of luck with Urban Decay's matte eyeliner pencils. The coverage isn't as even, not even with the darker shades (though they do give slightly better results.) I don't know if it's the matte eyeliner, or some other factor.
