Wet n Wild’s Megaslicks Balm Stain in Señorita

Not as purple as it appears…while people have worked to vamp it up, or applied it over a darker lipstick to get a true purple lip, I like wearing this just as it is. It's a good color for me, and blotted, it's a medium-deep magenta that is just barely outside of “office safe” without being a vivid violet. The color does stain, as well, so while the gloss finish fades away fairly fast, it does leave color behind. I'm glad I picked up two of these, because - a bit surprisingly - I really like this color.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the lip color in the tube; top right, the color applied over bare skin, to better show the shade; and below, the color applied to the lips.

I would not be at all unhappy to see this added to the regular lineup. I like it better than Lady and the Vamp, which shows up more wine-y and probably looks on warm-toned folks like Senorita looks on me: deeper color but not vampy, and just enough to be worn in, say, metro areas in the Midwest without getting too many odd looks.
