When this collection was announced, I was thrilled! I was less thrilled when I saw the price increase, all across the Zoya line. I'd previously stated that if Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure came in more colors I'd gladly use it exclusively but Zoya had such great polishes that even with the “standard” more narrow brush, I was willing to keep buying and using them. So when this happened, I looked over the CSM line to see how many dupes or near-dupes for this collection I could find. Brigitte was the only polish that I couldn't find a dupe for…though now that I actually own the polish, I may be able to find something.
The polish applies very well, full opacity in two coats, and I truly do love the shade. But…$9 per bottle? Sorry, gang, that's a bit out of my comfort zone for polishes that, just two years ago, were $7. (As you can guess, I don't regularly buy nail polish whose price per bottle is in, or anywhere near, the double digits.)
Sally Hansen's So Much Fawn seems to come closest, as a dupe; and it's part of the regular lineup. It is just a little bit warmer than Brigitte. Of the nude-creme Touch colors, Brigitte is closest to Zoya's Pandora…but there is more depth and more mauve tones in Brigitte, than in Pandora.
