Daul is a vampy version of Zoya's Faye: a medium-deep violet with golden-bronze contrasting shift. Zoya seems to have added a little something to the formula to improve it, as I only needed three coats of Daul to get complete opacity (where Faye really looked best with four coats.) This won't work for nail stamping, obviously; but I'm not even sure that this would work well as a background for nail art. There's a really gorgeous color-shift in this one that would just look kind of busy if it was the backdrop for freehand art of nail stamping.
As with all Zoya sparkles, you're best off wearing a top coat with this one so that you won't have to work so hard when you remove this manicure. (And yes, it's a gorgeous color, but at SOME point you're going to want to remove the polish. Even if that “some point” is two or three weeks from when you first put it on.)
