Zoya’s Deidra

This was listed as being a semisheer, but it's got fairly good coverage if I apply it more thickly. Three (admittedly heavy) coats gave me full coverage. I wish this color hadn't been discontinued! I see why it was, though: people who tend to favor purple nail polishes want something fully opaque, whereas folks who tend to wear sheer French-tip shades seem to gravitate toward nudes, tans, and pinks. I seem to be the weirdo. This, Jaime, Raine, OPI's Fireflies and Merryberry Mauve are all sheer polishes that look really amazing layered on top of another dark color…but I also like them worn by themselves, with two or three coats to get a little bit more color payoff without a full-on opaque manicure.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches
