All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Zoya’s Luscious collection

I ended up getting the whole collection, because Zoya had one of those deals that had you pay the equivalent of 7 bottles and you’d get all 12…plus they’d also send you 12 Z-wide brushes and a Naked Manicure Gelie Cure system. Since I was originally interested in 7 of the polishes anyway, this wasn’t a difficult decision. The collection is six creme finishes and six shimmer finishes.

Tasha and Soleil first caught my eye. Lou, Patrice, Teresa, Andrea, and Mel also looked very appealing. The two microshimmers Patrice and Wanda look best with three coats, as does Andrea. The other colors look excellent after two coats, and none of the bottles I got had formulas that didn’t apply as evenly as I’d prefer.

Some of these polishes remind me of other, older Zoyas. Andrea is like Ki, but a notch or two richer. Sharon and Teresa remind me of Areej. Tasha has the same base as Cinnamon, but a slightly brighter, rougher "foil" finish. And Soleil is a sibling to 2009's Penny, with a little less orange. One of the polish names has been recycled: in 2012, the Peter Som NYFW collection included a polish named Sharon. Unlike Jacqueline and Neely, that polish was never made part of the regular line. This Sharon looks nothing like that other one, though!
