The first of Zoya’s “Satins” - a finish that’s either a shiny matte or a muted creme, whichever way you prefer to describe it. The six colors in this collection were all soft enough to easily be considered neutral shades. They made an interesting winter color palette, even though technically they were a Spring collection.
These polishes were designed to be worn without a top coat. Since they came out, Zoya now sells a satin top coat that turns any polish into a “satin-finish” - and can be used over the top of these polishes to increase the lifespan of your manicure while keeping the satin finish. Most have good formulas, a few are a little goopy, and even without a top coat they’re not precisely fragile. I was initially interested in three colors: Brittany, Tove, and Sage. I picked up Rowan and Leah as well, after viewing some other photos online. Ava looked like a shade that I both had already, and was not overly attracted by.
