Zoya’s Nyx

I like the softer, almost beach-house greyed blue color. I'm less wild about the textured bit, but…well. One tries things out, and one learns. I bought these polishes, my first-ever textured polishes, and found that I'm not a fan of them. It happens. (Which means more textured polishes for those who have been waiting for these for all of their lives. Or at least all of their nail-polish-using lives.)

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

Close-up photo of the middle three fingernails of the left hand, showing the nail color applied. The left hand holding a bottle of nail polish and displaying all manicured fingernails, with 2 coats of Zoya's Nyx Four fingers in a row, resting on the thumb, with all nails displaying 2 coats of Zoya's Nyx

These were part of the first Pixie Dust collection that Zoya released, so the formula hadn't been perfected. It's a little slower to dry, and it takes at least two coats to get full opacity. Bottles filled with later batches may be using the newer formula, which seems to cure more quickly and be a bit more opaque.
