Yes, I know it was the “Smoke and Mirrors” release, and the common English phrase is not “mirrors and smoke”, so perhaps ideally I should have previewed this collection first. (But I liked the Mirrors collection better!) These are all cremes, most are darker but there are two softer shades. For folks drooling over Cynthia (I certainly was - a dark teal creme? Gimme!!), be warned that while the color is pretty, it’s so dark as to nearly be black. It kind of reminds me of OPI’s Glacier Bay Blues, minus the duochrome effects. Cynthia is a color best used for nail art. I only got Cynthia and Jana from this collection, and I don’t know that I’m interested in the other colors right now.

This collection contained:

• Anja — dark red-wine creme
• Codie — blackened brown creme
• Cynthia — smokey dark teal creme
• Dree — smokey olive green creme
• Jana — smokey medium lilac creme
• Petra — cool medium-dark grey creme

Like all Zoya collections, this will become part of the regular lineup - so even if Petra goes through a few waves of selling out (as I predict it will), it will be available for several years.
