Vampy cremes for the 2008 fall season - partner to the Pulse metallics. This collection had a much narrower color range, though: red and brown, no purples like Pulse had.
This collection contained:
- Asia — medium-bright deep red creme
- Alix — medium-dark red creme
- Dakota — blood-red creme
- Nina — warm chocolate brown creme
- Riley — cool dark raspberry creme
- Sam — dark red-brown creme
I wasn't looking to collect a huge horde of red nail polish (glances ruefully down at the box of Zoya reds...yeah, you can see how well that went) so initially the only color I got from this collection was Nina. I was looking for dark browns to pair with Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure, and got a brown so dark it was almost black. I finally went back to pick up Riley to get another good strong red to use for nail stamping. As of summer 2011, I don't know that I'll circle back and get Asia, Alix, Dakota, or Sam. The colors look nice enough, and I'm sure that they'll have the standard durability of Zoya's other creme polishes. I'm just personally not interested, right now, in owning those shades.
If you do want this collection, check Amazon. There are still a few sellers who have some of the older collections available, as a set, for the previous "set" price of $36 rather than the current "set" price of $48. This lets you essentially get a bottle-and-a-half free.
