Zoya’s Yasmeen

Rich metallic bright violet with microshimmer, and one of Scrangie's favorite purple nail polishes of all time. I am not the huge fan of purple polishes that she is, but this is a nice color with an attractive, subtle texture. It's one of Zoya's metallics, meaning that it has a high-shine finish and a metallic appearance but not a “chrome-metal” appearance. (Zoya has their own definition of ‘metallic' that doesn't completely sync up with my expectations of what that word should mean. Ditto for ‘holographic', though. And also, to an extent, ‘duochrome'.)

This polish applies easily and evenly, with full coverage in two coats. I like the microglitter/microshimmer - a bit of visual tone-on-tone texturing without the full sparkle.
