This is, for me, a great neutral shade! It almost has a high-gloss finish to it. Its formula is just a little on the thick side, so it needs more drying time between coats. I can see this as a tone-on-tone manicure background - maybe this with an ivory.

Under indoor lighting, the maroon is the most visible color. You can see the green at the edges, with hints of the copper; but those show up better under natural sunlight. I got full opacity in three coats. The formula is decent, but it does show brushstrokes fairly readily.
