Zoya’s Kayleigh
While I like this shade, it isn’t my favorite. The formula for this one was the worst of the entire Darling collection, at least for me. It’s thicker, resulting in less even coverage, and some pulling while applying subsequent coats.

This color almost seems out of place with the rest of the medium-or-lighter shades in the Darling collection. It’s an attractive shade, though not one that I would have initially picked up. The formula is the standard Zoya creme. I had a few problems with bubbling, but proper mixing...
This is a nicely-saturated coral that leans rose. (I’d almost call it “salmon-rose”, but that just sounds…kind of nasty.) The formula for this one was a little balky: it didn’t want to self-level, so there were some thinner spots and an uneven final surface. The color is...
I wasn’t originally interested in this collection. It seemed like a near-pastel (Pastels. For spring. Groundbreaking…) and not only do I have enough softer shades of nail polish, they aren’t the first colors that I reached for. I ended up getting this entire collection because it was a...
This color is…confusing. In the pot it looks like it might be a purple shade, or a deep cool brown. I can see hints of that purple-brown when the color is applied wet, but dry application only shows me the old-gold shade. The metallic finish does get reduced when...
This doesn’t swatch very well - it’s a little too thin, with some “bald spots.” That doesn’t really show up that way on my lid, though. I like that this is a darker green color, and I like that the blackening isn’t overwhelmingly visible. The shade...
This looks better on me than I’d expected - also, better than Cherry Slush, which I thought would look excellent. (Alas, it is a very sheer formula.) The tube that I got was problematic, though. The top would not stay on. I didn’t see a crack in the...
This isn’t a unique multichrome, even among nail polishes. Still, it’s always interesting to see how the various companies implement it. The primarily visible shade is a metallic deep blue-violet that tips over into a warm purple as the surface of the nail changes relative to your eye ...
I love this near-neutral earthy blue shade! I was hoping this would be a little more blue, but I ended up loving it as-is. I’ve got many blues, but not too many slate blues that don’t lean a bit more strongly towards grey. The formula is very good,...
This manages to be a muted green while still being fairly saturated. This was one of my first choices from this collection, and I love it. It’s a slightly lighter green without being pastel…even while managing to stay a neutral-cool green, no warm undertones.
