Very “heathered”, not much “purple.” At least, this is the excuse I used to justify adding Yet Another Purple Eyeshadow to my collection, when I already have so many (and more waiting to be catalogued!) The metallic finish makes this look like more of a deeply tarnished steel.
If Aromaleigh's Abyss was more blue than gold, and had a bit more color payoff…it would be this shade. This color looks almost blue-green in some lights.
Yellow nail polishes don't often look good on me. Even if the color is one that I like, and that won't make my hands look red, the polish formula often has spreadability issues: it holds brushstrokes a bit like a frost polish, even if it's a matte or creme finish....
