I'm not always a huge fan of old-gold shades. They seem kind of…I don't know. They're not my favorite. I can use this alongside neutral colors, but it just looks a little bland. (Personal preference.) It's good for eyelining, when I want a little definition but barely anything else.

Persephone Minerals’ Buttercreme Bliss

I like this shade…but I wish it had a bit more color payoff. I think the base color would have provided a nice background for the red-gold shimmer. This color looks good over a cream base, or foiled, to make the iridescence stand out.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics’ Ignite

I was hoping for something with a bit more intensity, out of a color named “Ignite”. It's a nice orange. Color payoff is maybe a bit lighter than I'd love, but there's always layering.
