All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Color Club’s Rocky Mountain High

If you’re looking for a deep red, this one may work for you…if you use three coats. The formula is rather thin, so it spreads well and has a smooth finish. Unfortunately, it doesn’t apply evenly. You can see how, with two coats, the edges are thinner and thus brighter. (CND’s Cherry Apple has the exact same issue. Three coats and you’ve got a lovely oxblood with hints of blood-of-my-enemies; two coats and you’ve got a cheap, kind of tacky-looking red.)
