ILNP’s Eclipse

During 2020 there was a rush of companies coming out with black-to-red multichrome nail polishes…and, yeah, I caved. I got this one and PMS’ Poker Face. This polish has a smoother, more metallic finish. I used two coats, but they were slightly thicker. If you use thinner coats, you’ll probably be happiest with three. Since the formula is thinner it will amplify any ridges you have, so definitely buff and clean your nails beforehand. (That seems to be a pretty regular thing with ILNP’s multichrome polishes - their formula reminds me of the circa-2000 Sally Hansen multichromes but just a bit thicker.)

I do see red on this, but honestly it’s most visible when I’m under standard (non-daybulb / “soft white”) indoor lighting. I don’t notice the red so much when I’m outdoors.
