I'm participating in an Alphabet Nail Challenge that I found over at Confessions of a Secret Shopper. She's running her contest from September 1 to 26 - start between those dates, and you can add your link to the list of people taking the challenge. All you have to do is post 26 manicures, one a day, each day using a polish that begins with a different letter of the alphabet. I'm using this as an opportunity to go through my backlog of polishes (and photos still on my hard drive!!) to show off some of my newer goodies.
One of my first-choice colors from Zoya's fall Designer collection. This color was created for the Peter Som show, during NYFW back in February 2012. There were three colors (Audrey, Katherine, and Evvie) and two were added to the Fall 2012 Designer collection. Since I missed the Peter Som trio when it was released, and really really wanted to get my hands on Evvie, I'm glad that this color is now effectively part of the regular line! It applies smoothly and wears very well. Two coats was enough for full, even coverage. The shade is a great autumnal color - Zoya's site describes it originally as a “smokey eucalyptus creme” which I think is fairly accurate! (Except that most eucalyptus leaves I've seen have been a lighter green color. So I'd just add “medium-deep” to the color description.)
