Alphabet Nail Challenge: F is for Fascinante (by Ludurana)

I'm participating in an Alphabet Nail Challenge that I found over at Confessions of a Secret Shopper. She's running her contest from September 1 to 26 - start between those dates, and you can add your link to the list of people taking the challenge. All you have to do is post 26 manicures, one a day, each day using a polish that begins with a different letter of the alphabet. I'm using this as an opportunity to go through my backlog of polishes (and photos still on my hard drive!!) to show off some of my newer goodies.

I got two bottles of this polish when it was in the Sale section on Llarowe's web site. Looking at the site today, they don't even appear to be carrying this brand any more…so I'm really glad I got two bottles! The collection isn't even mentioned on Ludurana's site any longer, so it's possible that it's gone entirely. (Well, to be fair, it did first make the rounds of US beauty blogs a year ago…but dang it, it would have been nice if this had stuck around a bit longer!) Fascinante is a red-gold colorshifting shade that reminded me of the old Sally Hansen shade Cinnabar, which shifted from a warm burgundy-red to a orange-tinged old gold. The colorshift isn't quite as profound as that one, but it's definitely not just a feature of the curvature of the nails or bottle. This manicure shows three coats, though I probably could have used two and been just fine.
