Again, I re-ordered the “official photography” so that the colors were all in alphabetical order. (This is just me.) As of this entry, only the sample set is available for purchase, for $18. Based on the list price of the Mythos individual colors, I’m going to guess that these will be the same price.

Aromaleigh v1’s Wonderstruck collection Collection: Aromaleigh v1's Wonderstruck

My initial favorites are But This Is My Dream, Curious Dream, Looking Glass, Pass the Tarts, Pool of Tears, and Wonder-ous. I like the names; but would have loved to see a color-interpretation of either Bandersnatch or Jabberwock.

This collection contained:

  • But This Is My Dream — light sherbet-orange gold shimmer
  • Curious Dream — teal green sparkle
  • Curiouser and Curiouser — medium violet-blue shimmer
  • Drink Me — daisy-yellow sparkle
  • Fiddlesticks! — warm dark-chocolate brown sparkle
  • Flamin-go — softened fuchsia sparkle
  • Fruminous — dark dusty violet shimmer
  • Hearts A-Plenty — warm pink shimmer
  • Impossible Things — golden olive shimmer
  • Just A-Head — deep violet shimmer
  • Looking Glass — silver-blue sparkle
  • Melancholy Maiden — warm pale tan shimmer
  • Mimsy — warm brown shimmer
  • Opiate Advice — bright lavender shimmer
  • Pass The Tarts — raspberry-wine shimmer
  • Pink Portent — soft pink shimmer
  • Pool of Tears — dusty pale robins-egg blue sparkle
  • Rule Forty Two — mauved violet shimmer
  • Spot of Tea — neutral pale sand shimmer
  • Tattered and Grown —
  • Temper, Temper — wine-violet shimmer
  • The Wrong Alice — slightly muted metallic turquoise
  • Tunnel Vision — silvered violet shimmer
  • We're All Mad Here — new-leaf green shimmer
  • Wonder-ous — cream shimmer (similar to Oyster, but with a different finish)

And to enjoy this collection and its inspiration in another fashion, here's a performance of Jabberwock:

'Twas brilling, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves, and the mome raths outgrabe.

'Beware the Jabberwock, my son!The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jujub bird, and shun the frumious bandersnatch!'

He took his vorpal sword in hand: long time the manxome foe he sought;
So rested he by the Tumtum tree, and stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood, the Jabberwock, with eyes of flame
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, and burbled as it came.

One, two! One, two! And through and through the vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head he went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" he chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves, and the mome raths outgrabe.

...

In summer, when the days are long, perhaps you'll understand this song.
In autumn, when the leaves are brown, take pen and ink and write it down.
