The third of three "Swansong" collections released by Aromaleigh v1. As of 10/3/2010, individual colors aren't for sale...but you can purchase the entire sample set and see full-sun swatch photos at the company blog. Based on pricing for the Mythos collection, I'm going to guess that these colors will be $5 per 1.2 gram jar. Again, I re-ordered the “official photography” so that the colors were all in alphabetical order. (This is just me.) As of this entry, only the sample set is available for purchase, for $18. Based on the list price of the Mythos individual colors, I’m going to guess that these will be the same price. Swatches, indoor lighting, over primer. Top row dry, bottom row foiled:

When I purchased this color, I thought: here's a good medium-dark brown frost, I bet it will look amazing under Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure. Then I applied it…and didn't want to cover the color up. So I'll wuss out, wear it plain for a few days, and see how it looks under Hidden Treasure tomorrow. And since this is a China Glaze polish, it will probably also work well for nail stamping. Wonder how it would look over Classic...

A decent eye trio, with one obvious highlighter (Opal), one obvious liner or contouring shade (Black Ruby) and one all-over shade (Citrine.) The color names fit the theme…but the colors themselves don’t seem to be the very best combination. A more neutral brown, or one with more obvious red undertones, would have harmonized a bit better with Opal and Black Ruby than Citrine.
