Another collection resurrected from Aromaleigh v1. I bought several of the Pure Drama shadows, but none from the v1 Drama Queen collection, so I can’t compare v1 to v2 formulations. I can tell you that even during the original Aromaleigh run, the Drama Queen shadows were priced just slightly lower than the others; and that, just like now, the Drama Queen shadows are described as being the sparklier, more glam versions of the Pure Drama shadows.
The Drama Queen colors are a bit more prone to fallout than the Pure Drama colors. In the two Pure Drama v1/Drama Queen v2 side-by-side comparisons I’ve done (red and teal) the colors appear a slight bit richer in the Pure Drama v1. That could be down to a smoother metallic/shimmer finish than a sparkle finish, or it could be just how the two reds and teals look side by side - I’m not sure. Will you need both? It depends on your preferences. You may try samples of both and decide that you really don’t like fallout, you’re going to stick with Pure Drama shades. Or you may get the Drama Queen colors, because you intend to use these as liners and you want that extra glitz.Or you may feel that yes, Virginia, I do need every single variant because - duh. Metallic shimmer is different from sparkle finish, they’re different and you need both. In an upside, these are both small collections - so if you get full samples of each, that’s under $20. Then you can test the colors and wear them all quite a few times before you need to make decisions on which to get in full-size.or look at other entries tagged with Brand: Aromaleigh, collection, discontinued, released: 2012
