BareMinerals’ Buzzworthy kit

Three fullsize eyecolors, a fullsize face color, a fullsize tube of mascara, and a double-ended lipgloss with a lipstick. For the same as a 3-color eye kit on QVC, or 3 individual fullsize colors in the boutiques. It’s difficult not to see the value here, unless you’re seriously unfond of the colors.

BareMinerals’ Buzzworthy kit

I don’t love the look when I wore the kit together, but I love the individual items: primarily Sticky Buns, Glee Radiance, and High Shine Charisma. Popular had the same problems as BE’s Bon Bon: its base color applies okay, but its iridescence doesn’t show up too well unless you wear the color foiled and unbuffed - which has limited uses. The Well Rested was in the “small” (or “10-gram-jar” size), but the quantity was listed as being .04 grams - nearly twice the listed amount as the eyeshadows. I was happy to receive another tube of Flawless Definition, though I hope that BE starts including the waterproof formula in its future kits (or lets users choose.)

This kit contained:

  • High Shine Charisma — gilded mauve-rose shimmer
  • Popular — medium-deep plum sheen with green interference
  • Well Rested — pale gold-buff matte
  • Glee Radiance — sheer mauve-taupe shimmer
  • Sticky Buns — toasted-rose lipstick
  • Muffin Top — pink-taupe pearl lipgloss
  • Flawless Definition mascara — fullsize tube, black, non-waterproof formula
