Pale pinks and frosts have not historically been one of BareMinerals' more dependable performers, at least not their loose powder versions. Sometimes the coverage is semisheer, sometimes the formula is chalky, sometimes the color does work well…but one rarely knows in advance. I originally skipped getting this kit when it was first released, because the color combination of pink and brown was…well, it wasn't all that exciting, and several other holiday kits released around the same time had a similar theme of “pink + neutral.” All of the colors in this kit turned out to be really solid performers.

Charmed is one of the few true “frosts” (as opposed to a granular-pearl finish) that I've seen in BareMinerals' loose powder lineup.
